How to Get Atlas Pass V1 if You Missed It

Passes are unlocked through Manufacturing Facility tech trees now. That said, if you already have V3, you don't need any of the lesser ones, since it'll open all Atlas Locked doors and containers.

Pre Beyond, these were the buildings you would go to that you had to give the correct response to 'fix' the facility and were rewarded with a random item recipe.

Now, when you fix the system, you're presented with a tech-tree of recipes, similar to how you unlock building components in the Anomaly or Construction Terminal. Now you can select the exact recipes you want to unlock for the higher end crafted items like Cryo Pumps and Fusion Cores. The Atlas Passes are part of that now.

To add to this, the easiest way to track down such a location is to trade Navigation Data with a Cartographer aboard a Space Station. Doing that rewads you a star chart. The one that you need is „Planetary Chart (secure site)".

Remember that you can blast the doors with your space ship...

I cannot even remember anymore how I did get the Atlas v1, v2. Play all parts of the game and you get them. Once you get v2, you can erase v1, it's cummulative.

Ah ok when the pass isnt a consum item and will stay still in inventory than good ^^

Yep I remember now:
In manufacturing buildings (or headquaters?), if you succeed the puzzle you will sometimes be given the choice of what you can improve in your equipment, you will then get 2 items in a category of your choice. Altas passes are part of these items to chose from in a construction plan scheme that is presented to you.

You don't get the Atlas Pass V# from doing star charts. You need to use a „Planetary Chart (secure site)", then hope it is a Manufactory or whatever it was, solve the puzzle and then you get some kind of science points that you can spent within the same facility and terminal. There, Atlas Pass V# are some of the available research options, allowing you to craft them.

This is how I got all three of my Altlas passes. You can also just search the surface of a planet instead of using a chart. I've found quite a few manufacturing sites that way.
